On the occasion of the 10th National Security Education Day for All, the Party, Youth League and class organizations of the School of Marxism have closely followed the core theme of "National security, Youth Standing Upright ", carried out a series of various and rich national security education activities to deeply implant the national security awareness in the hearts of young people, by means of building a foundation with theoretical study, empowering with practical actions, and increasing efficiency with innovative forms.
Learn deeply in layers to lay a solid theoretical foundation.
Insist on theoretical study as the primary task, and deepen the educational effect in layers and categories. Class 1 of the 2023 postgraduate students used the dual-track mode of "deep theoretical study + online research study" building an immersive learning field through special lectures and online open classes; Class 2 and Class 4 of the 2024 postgraduate students relied on the " Lecture Hall of National Security Education " to organize group discussions in dormitory, analyzed cases in combination with the "Learning Outline of Overall National Security Concept", and strengthened the awareness ofpolitical security; Class 3 of the 2022 postgraduate students systematically sorted out the connotation of national security, focusing on the National Security Law and the Counterespionage Law, and clarified the legal responsibility of young people.
Empowering through practice to promote the unity of knowledge and action
Pay attention to transforming theoretical study into vivid practice and form a closed loop of "combination of learning withapplication". Class 3 of the 2023 postgraduate students went to Liu Gongdao in Weihai, Shandong Province to carry out social practice on the theme of national security, and achieved the results such as ideological and political micro-courses and research reports, and was awarded the "excellent practice team pacesetter" at the university level. Class 1 of the 2024 postgraduate students used "National Security Knowledge Competition" to stimulate young people's enthusiasm for learning; Class 3 of the 2022 postgraduate students sounded the alarm through real cases such as "leakage of scientific research data in colleges and universities" and improved the ability to prevent risk.
Innovating forms and activating educational efficiency
Make good use of multi-platform resources and break through the time and space constraints. The Youth League branch of the 2023 undergraduate studentsachieved full coverage through online meetings, and deepened understanding by combining scenario simulation questions and answers; Class 3 of the 2024 postgraduate students relied on the "National Security Knowledge Quiz for College Students" to test the learning effectiveness and formed an educational closed loop of "learning-testing-thinking". Class 2 of the 2024 doctoral students, conducted online interactive discussions and shared the action path of safeguarding national security in combination with real-life situations.
Leading with Party-building and strengthening the sense of mission and responsibility.
Deeply integrate national security education with political discipline education. Class 3 of the 2023 postgraduate students promoted the mutual integration and promotion of the spirit of the eight-point decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and national security education with the theme party day activities, and strictly controlled theoretical lectures and practical materials. Pay attention to giving full play to the advantages of the linkage among the Party, Youth League and the class organizations, strictly abide by the political bottom line in ideological work, and build a collective consensus that "national security is fundamentally based on political security."
National Security Education Day for All
National security requires young people to stand upright. Through systematic, innovative and practical educational activities, the School of Marxism has guided young students to internalize the maintenance of national security in their hearts and externalize it in their actions. In the future, the School of Marxism will continue to deepen the long-term mechanism of national security education, encourage young people to contribute the “strength of the School of Marxism” to build a solid national security line of defense with their consciousness of both theory and action.
