On the afternoon of March 10th, the School of Marxism held a mobilization meeting for the review and evaluation of undergraduate education and teaching. The meeting was presided over by Professor Sun Shoutao, vice dean of the School, and attended by faculty and staff of the School.
Sun Shoutao systematically interpreted the connotation and significance of the new round of audit and evaluation, introduced the specific process of online evaluation and on-campus inspection and "Nankai Outstanding Public Talents Training System 3.0", and explained in detail the construction of undergraduate education and teaching quality assurance system. He asked all teachers and students of the School to attach great importance to this and prepare adequately for the audit and evaluation work.
Cui Manshun, secretary of the Party Committee of the School, summed up the significance of the audit and evaluation work, the highlights and characteristics of the education and teaching of the university and the School, and made arrangements for the important work items during the audit and evaluation period. She emphasized that the audit and evaluation of undergraduate education and teaching is a comprehensive test of the effectiveness of the school's implementation of the fundamental task of building strong moral character.. The school attaches great importance to this. The School should give full play to the supervisory role of grassroots teaching organizations and carry out special training for different groups of teachers in a stratified and classified manner, and discover and solve problems in teaching in time to ensure excellent teaching quality. Teachers and students of the School should also accurately grasp the core connotation of "Nankai Excellent Public Talents Training System 3.0" and the characteristics and highlights of the School’s undergraduate education and teaching reform , and make relevant preparations.
The School will take this audit and evaluation as an opportunity to further deepen the reform of ideological and political education and teaching, focus on improving the teaching quality of ideological and political courses, and strive to cultivate more new people of the times who can reassure the party, patriotic and dedicated, and shoulder the heavy responsibility of national rejuvenation.
