Zhao Meirong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Nankai University, secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and supervisory commissioner, and Fu Hong, secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Marxism, jointly unveiled the "Maintain the Integrity of Nankai Cultivate Honest Character of Students" Integrity Culture Education Studio. All party members of the discipline inspection and supervision institutions and members of the discipline inspection committees of the teachers and students party branches of the School participated in the event.
Zhao Meirong said that strict organization and discipline are the party's political advantages and fine traditions. For more than 100 years, our Party has been able to unite and lead the people of all ethnic groups across the country to overcome the risk and challenges on the road ahead, and it is inseparable from strengthening the discipline education of the party member team from the beginning to the end. The discipline inspection and supervision work in the new era is facing a new proposition of the times, and guarding the lifeline of discipline is related to the future and destiny of the party and the country. We must always adhere to the strict tone, comprehensively strengthen discipline construction, and constantly improve the professional ability and theoretical research level of discipline inspection and supervision.
Zhao Meirong pointed out that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, in the great practice of strictly administering the Party in an all-round way, our Party has been carrying out practical exploration and theoretical thinking. On the basis of the first answer given by Comrade Mao Zedong to “let the people supervise the government” in Yan 'an "Cave Pair" that year, our Party has given the second answer in combination with the new practice, that is, to constantly promote the Party's self-revolution. It is necessary to give full play to the role of the integrity culture education studio, so as to learn one step ahead and learn one step further. We should follow the practical requirements of the "nine aims" of self-revolution, strengthenthe study, research and interpretation with the awareness of "benchmarking", give full play to their respective advantages, and actively explore the Nankai practice of high-quality development of discipline inspection and supervision.
At the meeting, the Party Committee of the School, the Party branch of the discipline inspection and supervision institution, and teachers and students of all the Party branches of the School conducted in-depth exchanges on deepening the party's discipline construction, carrying out theoretical research on discipline inspection and supervision, and co-constructing the Party branches.
Before the meeting, the teachers and students also visited the School's "Keeping Youth and Vitality Forever —— Special Exhibition of the Communist Party of China (CPC)'s Self-revolutionary Practice in Xiangshan Period".
It is reported that the School insists on promoting the culture of integrity, carrying out the study and education of party discipline in a regular and long-term way, and has achieved good results. In the next work, the school will further strengthen cooperation with the discipline inspection and supervision institutions, take the construction of the integrity culture education studio as the starting point to create a honest culture education base with disciplinary characteristics, make it an important carrier to carry forward the integrity spirit and spread the value of integrity, and promote the integrity culture construction in Nankai University in various forms and ways.
