In order to deepen the study and practice of the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and further promote the holistic construction of ideological and political courses at primary and secondary schools and institutions of higher learning, on the afternoon of October 11, the Reform and Innovation Center of Nankai University for Ideological and Political Courses and Tianjin Yaohua Middle School jointly carried out a theme lecture activity.
Director Zhang Zhe and teacher Shi Yanjie of Tianjin Yaohua Middle School warmly welcomed the arrival of the lecturers of the center. Director Zhang Zhe introduced the basic situation of Yaohua Middle School and led everyone to visit the campus.
18 master student lecturers transformed the innovative theories of the Communist Party of China into vivid stories close to young people, bringing wonderful ideological and political courses to middle school students.
Wang Zerui gave a lecture on the theme of “Ideology in Movies”. By explaining the public communication function of movies, she made the students realize the arduousness and complexity of the struggle in the ideological field and guided the students to safeguard the ideological security.
Wang Chentianran gave a lecture entitled “Whole-Process People’s Democracy—the Archimedes Fulcrum of Building China’s Democratic Discourse System”, focusing on the development of whole-process people’s democracy, enabling students to deeply understand the important theoretical and practical significance of whole-process people’s democracy.
Fan Zhengyu delivered a lecture entitled “The Strategic Position and Promotion Path of Leading Country in Education”. Focusing on important discussions of education, he summarized the historic achievements of educationdevelopment in the new era and explained the significance of the integrated advancement of education development, scientific and technological innovation, and talent cultivation.
Wang Longtai gave a lecture around the spirit of “two sessions（i.e. the National People's Congress and the Chinese Political Consultative Conference）Focusing on environmental protection policies and economic transformation, he helped students deeply understand high-quality development.
Feng Wenyue gave a speech entitled “Chinese-style modernization is the modernization of harmony between humanity and nature”, explaining the philosophical foundation, theoretical guidance, practical path and value orientation of such a modernization.
It is reported thatpromoting the integrated construction of ideological and political courses is one of the main functions of the Reform and Innovation Center of Nankai University for Ideological and Political Courses, which has carried outmultiple joint teaching activities in cooperation with Yaohua Middle School, Yaohua Primary School of Heping District and other schools .In the future, the Center will continue to deepen theoretical research and practical work, and contribute to the reform and innovation of ideological and political courses in the new era.
