On the occasion of the 40th Teachers’ Day, in order to vigorously promote the spirit of educators and encourage teachers of Nankai University to devote themselves to the construction of a powerful country in education, Liang Qi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nankai University, went to the School of Marxism to pay cordial greetings to the teacher representatives, accompanied by Jiao Yanting, Vice Chairman of the Labor Union. Representatives of teachers and management cadres of the School of Marxism attended the meeting, which was chaired by Fu Hong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Marxism.
At the staff home, Liang Qi extended his wishes and thanks to all teachers and staff on behalf of the university. He said that the School of Marxism of Nankai University, as one of the first nine key schools of Marxism in China, shoulders the important mission of fostering character and civic virtue in higher education.
He emphasized that Nankai University has a glorious patriotic tradition. We must transform patriotism and the spirit of struggle into practical actions, strengthen patriotic education, and cultivate patriotic feelings. The university will continue to care about and support the development of teachers, and strive to provide teachers with better working conditions and broader development space. Teachers should continue to carry forward the fine traditions, enhance the contribution of the ideological and political courses, and contribute to the cultivation of socialist builders and successors.
During the exchange, Fu Hong said that the School of Marxism, as an important position for inheriting the red gene and carrying forward the spirit of the times, shoulders the historical mission of cultivating high-quality talents. In recent years, under the leadership of Nankai University and the joint efforts of all faculty and staff, the School of Marxism has achieved remarkable results and effectively exerted its influence in the reform and innovation of ideological and political courses and the construction of Big ideological and political courses.The School of Marxism will further train talents, improve the level of teaching staff, and serve the staff well.
Teacher representatives spoke one after another. Professor Kou Qingjie said that this era is constantly advancing the development of Marxist disciplines, and excellent young teachers are also promoting his continuous progress.
