On May 16, the School of Marxism held a meeting of all faculty and staff to study and understand Xi Jinping’s important instructions on the construction of the ideological and political courses and the guiding principles from the promotion meeting on the construction of the ideological and political courses in the new era. The meeting was presided over by Fu Hong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Marxism.
Fu Hong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Marxism, led all faculty and staff to read the press release,conveyed and studied Xi Jinping’s important instructions on the construction of the ideological and political courses and the guiding principles from the promotion meeting on the construction of the ideological and political courses in the new era.
Yu Yifan, Executive Vice Dean, conveyed the requirements from themeeting of the standing committee (enlarged) of the party committee of Nankai University. The meeting required the whole university should go out to to build the ideological and political courses well and achieve new landmark results. It is necessary to further enhance interaction during the classroom teaching ,increase the head-up rate and summarize excellent teaching methods; to vigorously strengthen the construction of young teachers team and improve the training, access and exit mechanism; to promote the close integration of patriotism education and the construction of ideological and political courses and highlight the characteristics of Nankai University; to further optimize the ideological and political courses evaluation system with priority of teaching work and continuously improve the teaching quality.
Wang Xinsheng, Former Vice President of Nankai University and Dean of the School of Marxism, pointed out that Xi Jinping’s important instructions on the construction of the ideological and political courses have pointed out the direction for further promoting the construction of ideological and political courses. Wang Xinsheng put forward three requirements: First, we must strengthen learning, enhance political awareness, and deeply grasp the importance of the construction of ideological and political courses. Second, we must highlight our characteristics and continue to contribute Nankai University’s strength to the construction of ideological and political courses. Third, we must improve the quality of teaching and create the “Golden Class” for the ideological and political education.
All the teachers and management cadres of the School of Marxism attended the meeting.
