In order to deeply study and publicize the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches during his visit to Tianjin, comprehensively implement Xi Jinping's cultural thought, and gather strong spiritual power for comprehensively promoting the building a strong city in education, the Education Working Committee of the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee and the Tianjin Municipal Education Commission heldthe Second Tianjin Grassroots Theoretical Lecturer Competition of “Bear in mind Entrust and Take up the Mission”.
Recommended by the school and selected by the Education Working Committee and the Education Commission, the work of Zhou Jiyao, Chen Zitong and Su Yapeng, master's students of the College, entitled “How the Second Combination Can Solve the Dispute between Ancient and Modern China and between the East and West” won the Second Prize in the language programs of the Tianjin Educational System Sub-competition.
“How the Second Combination Can Solve the Dispute between Ancient and Modern China and between the East and West” takes the road of rejuvenation of modern China as a clue, introduces the profound thinking of “the dispute between ancient and modern China” in the field of culture, and vividly explains the inner logic of “the second combination” to solve that dispute.
