In order to implement the spirit of the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping's visit to the Beiping-Tianjin Campaign Memorial Hall and carry forward the revolutionary tradition, on March 9, the Research Centre for Reform and Innovation of Ideological and Political Courses in the New Era of the School of Marxism of Nankai University, in collaboration with YaoHua Primary School, YaoHua Secondary School, and Quan Yechang Primary School, followed the footsteps of General Secretary Xi Jinping's visit to the BeiPing-Tianjin Campaign Memorial Hall to carry out a themed study there.
After arriving at the Beiping-Tianjin Campaign Memorial Hall, students followed the guide to visit six exhibition halls: Prologue, Battle Decision-making, Battle Implementation, People's Support to the Front, Great Victory and Martyrs' Achievements. The exhibition halls displayed the glorious past of the revolutionary martyrs in a three-dimensional and comprehensive way through a variety of cultural relics, documents and video exhibitions, silently recounting the red history of the Beiping-Tianjin Campaign. The students watched the exhibitions carefully and deeply understand the heroic deeds of the revolutionary martyrs and the significance of the great victory on the ground under the guidance of the revolutionary spirit. Wang Ziheming from YaoHua Secondary School's Senior Class 13 said that the victory of the Beiping-Tianjin Campaign was a great one of the People's War under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, and an important milestone in the course of the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
