The 15th National Deans Forum of the Schools of Marxism was held at Nankai University from December 9 to 10, 2023. This forum was co-sponsored by the Institute of Marxism of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Nankai University and Research Institute for 21st-Century Marxism, with the theme being “Marxism and Chinese Modernization”. Wang Weiguang, Director of the 13th Committee of Ethnic and Religious Affairs of the CPPCC, Dean of the Research Institute for 21st-Century Marxism, Tenured Professor of Nankai University, and Li Yi, Vice President of the Party School of the Central Committee of CPC(National Academy of Governance) attended the opening ceremony and delivered keynote reports. Xin Xiangyang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of the Institute of Marxism of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Xu Zhong, Vice Minister of Publicity Department of Tianjin Municipal Committee, and Chen Yulu, President of Nankai University addressed the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Niu Wenli, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nankai University.
It is reported that the National Deans Forum of the Schools of Marxism is a high-end forum founded by the Institute of Marxism of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and has become a major platform for regular exchanges among domestic Marxist theorists, an important window to show the latest research results of the Sinicization of Marxism, and an important front for the publicity and popularization of Marxism.
