On February 29, the School of Marxism held the faculty conference to conductthe 2023 mid-level leadership team and mid-level cadres’ performance evaluation and 2024 annual work deployment. Fu Hong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, presided over the conference, and Huo Limin, the member of the 7th Steering Group of Nankai University, attended to guide as a non-voting witness.
Fu Hong, on behalf of the leadership team, made a work report from five aspects, including political construction, leadership ability, work performance, clean government construction, and work style construction. She introduced a series of achievements the College made in 2023 under the leadership of Party Committee of Nankai University and with the support of all teachers and students. Fu Hong pointed out that The school took theme education and implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPCas the main line, focused on organization construction, achieved a lot on the work of deepening and promoting the ideological and political courses construction, organize scientific research, teacher team building, talent cultivation and social services.
Subsequently, Secretary of the Party Committee Fu Hong, Executive Vice Dean Yu Yifan, Vice Dean Wang Shengsheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Xiao Guangwen, Vice Dean Sun Shoutao, and Vice Dean Lan Hao gave their work reports respectively. Participants conducted democratic evaluations of the leadership team and middle-level cadres.
Fu Hong emphasized that 2024 is the fifth anniversary of the National Ideological and Political Courses Teachers’ Symposium hosted by Xi Jinping, the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Ideological and Political Education major, and a critical year for the development of the School of Marxism of Nankai University.The School should continue to study, publicize and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, give full play to initiative, enthusiasm and creativity, fully implement various tasks, and achieve greater progress.
