In this hopeful spring, the two Sessions were held in the eager expectation of all the people of China. After listening to Premier Li Qiang's report on the work of the Government, I feel extremely encouraged. In the decade of change in the New Era, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has placed education in the strategic position of priority development in the overall situation of the Party and the country, promoted the education cause in the New Era to make historic achievements and pattern changes, and started a new historical journey to accelerate the modernization of education. The successful convening of the National People's Congress and the National People's Political Consultative Conference (NPPCC) has written a new chapter of democracy, unity, pragmatism and progress. Premier Li Qiang's report on the work of the government carried out the decision-making and deployment of the CPC Central Committee, proposing to carry out actions to expand basic education, promote the development of pre-school education for all, adhere to the concept of people-centered education, and fully respond to social concerns.
