On the afternoon of September 22, the Doctoral Theory Research Association of the School of Marxism of Nankai University held its second general meeting in Room 113 of the School. Professor Yu Yifan, Deputy Dean of the School of Marxism and Instructor of the Association attended the meeting. Relevant members of the Association participated in this meeting. The meeting was presided over by Liu Yizhuo, the Chairman of the Association.
In the speech, Prof Yu Yifan highly affirmed the work of Association in the past year and congratulated the establishment of the new Committee of the Association. He hoped that the new Committee would be able to define its own position and better serve the academic research and life needs of the students of the School of Marxism. He also encouraged the members of Association to deal with the relationship between personal development and organizational development, and to make the Association become better while achieving their own development.
Then, Liu Yizhuo, the Second President of the Association, delivered a speech. Liu Yizhuo introduced the basic situation of the Doctoral Theory Research Association and the main activities carried out in the past year to the new members and pointed out that the Association would be committed to the development of theoretical research and service orientation. Finally he expressed the hope that association members could gain recognition, win harvests, and grow up together.
Next, Cui Xinyu, Vice President of Association, Wei Shuyan, Director of Academic Department, and Wang Xiaoxia, Director of Culture and Sports Department, delivered speeches one after another. They introduced their respective departments and their work to the new members, helping them get familiar with the operation of the Association as soon as possible. And they hoped to build the Association into a united and warm family together.
In the end, Zhao Fuxin, the First President of Association gave a speech. As the initiator of the Association, Zhao Fuxin introduced the original intention and course of founding the Association. He also hopes that all the new members could uphold the philosophy of Nankai University: "Know China, Serve China" and the motto of "Fairness, Integrity, and Rapid Improvement", making themselves the students of the School of Marxism with true learning.
