On the afternoon of October 15, the welcome meeting of the Student Lecture Association of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era was held in Room 113 of the School of Marxism. Bai Yunxiang and Ning Yue, the tutors of the lecture association, were invited to attend, and all members participated. The meeting was presided over by Zhao Chenning.
Yao Xinchi, the leader of the lecture association, summarized the work of the previous year, introduced the operating mechanism and organizational procedures of the lecture association, and put forward suggestions and prospects for the work in the new academic year. Department heads Zhou Jiyao, Guo Yige, and Li Yongchao introduced the work contents and plans. Members of the lecture association introduced themselves, shared their expectations, and made suggestions for better work.
Ning Yue, the tutor of lecture association, addressed the association members from two aspects: “Be a good graduate student” and “Be a good lecturer”. She hoped that the members would combine theoretical preaching with professional learning.
Bai Yunxiang, the tutor of lecture association, pointed out that the welcome meeting was a new beginning. He hoped that all members could cherish the opportunity to publicize, enjoy the publicizing process, and continuously improve their theoretical literacy and publicizing level in practice.
The welcome meeting deepened the exchanges among all members and laid a good foundation for the future work of the lecture association. The lecture association will continue to study, research, publicize and practice Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, further explore new contents, new forms, and new platforms, and create a series of high-quality preaching, so as to contribute to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
