The School of Marxism and Tianjin Nankai High School successfully held the 5th Red Games
In order to study and implement the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, encourage students to inherit the glorious tradition, strengthen ideals and beliefs, and to consciously shoulder the historical `responsibility of fulfilling the Chinese dream of great national renewal, the School of Marxism of Nankai University and Tianjin Nankai High School successfully held together the fifth Red Games on the morning of May 20, Jinnan campus
Adhering to the idea of integrated construction, this Red Games encouraged undergraduate and graduate students to form mixed teams. Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee Gao Tianqi, the ideological and political teacher of Nankai SchoolChen Jun, and representatives of high school students formed 7 teams to participate Games. The undergraduates Cheng Yijie, Liao Qiuhan, and Wang Fei joined the high school team. They actively communicated and cooperated with each other to complete various activities.
The Red Games was planned by the Youth League Committee of the School of Marxism, and the Student Union and the Postgraduate Association of the School of Marxism were responsible for the operation and execution. Six campus attractions were selected and linked to the key words of the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Fun sports games were set up in the six stations combined with the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. All athletes exercised their bodies and improved their spiritual realm.
In the awarding session, the Student Union, Teacher Gao Tianqi and Teacher Chen Jun presented medals to the winners. In order to better realize the goal of Comprehensive Education, the Student Union and the Postgraduate Association prepared some options of study, daily necessities and sports equipment as prizes, especially some books related to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
The Red Games combined education with recreation, promoting the students to study the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, deeply understand the great struggle of the Communist Party of China and to further strengthen their ideals and beliefs. At the same time, the Games integrated patriotic education into sports, encouraging students to inherit the patriotic tradition of Nankai University and become qualified builders and successors of the socialist cause.
