To promote ideological and political educators in university in-depth study and implementation of thematic education on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, effectively promote the construction of the “Grand Ideological and Political Course” project and cultivate people by using the innovative theory of the Party in the new era, Tianjin Municipal Education Commission, Tianjin Municipal Education Commission Committe and Nankai University jointly hosted the National Exchange Symposium of Comprehensive Reform for the Grand Ideological and Political Education , under the guidance of the Social Science Department of the Ministry of Education.

At the meeting, National Ideological Education Alliance for Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era was established. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Education, the alliance is led and organized by the CPC Tianjin Standing Committee and Tianjin Municipal Education Commission with working institutions responsible for alliance’s daily operating at Nankai University, Tianjin University, and Tianjin Normal University which is. The main task of the alliance is to revise Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era courseware and related teaching materials, regularly carry out Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era collective lesson preparation activities, deeply organize teaching research of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Eraand comprehensively carry out teacher demonstration training work.
