On February 18, the founding conference of Research Center for the History and Building of the CPC of Nankai University & the Seminar of Chinese Modernization were held in multi-function hall of Xingshen Buiding in Balitai campus of Nankai University by means of combination of online and offline attendance. The Research Center for the History and Building of the CPC of Nankai University is a non-entity professional academic research institution approved by Nankai University and affiliated with the School of Marxism at Nankai University. The establishment of this research institute is an important measure for Nankai University to implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and establish a first-class discipline for strengthening the history and construction of the Communist Party of China.
Wang Liwen pointed out that studying, promoting, and implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China is the primary political task of the entire party constantly. The setting-up of the Research Center of History and Buildong of the CPC of Nankai University and corresponding theoretical seminar is the specific measure to learn and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. After the opening ceremony, a seminar on the CPC and Chinese path to modernization was held. President of the School of Marxism at Nankai University Liu Fengyi and Vice President of the Research Center of the History and Building of Chinese Communist Party of Nankai University Ji Yaguang, presided over the part of theme report and the part of speech sessions Respectively.
President of Chinese Historical Society and former President of Qiushi Magazine Li Jie stateed that in order to further study Chinese path to modernization, we should clarify the dialectical relationship between industrialization and modernization, clarify the relationship between Chinese path to modernization and the new form of human civilization and understand the significance of Chinese path to modernization.
