In order to study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, improve the ideological and political quality of doctoral students, and promote the combination of theoretical study and practice, the Party Branch of Doctoral Students, Grade 2022 made a visit to Tianjin Planning Exhibition Hall on April 22.
Tianjin Planning Exhibition Hall has four floors with the construction area of 15,000 square meters. The exhibition areas comprises 16 sections. On the 1st floor are the sectionss of history, master plan, transportation and publicity as well as the scale model of the central area. On the 2nd floor are the sectionss of Binhai New Area, Haihe River, the historic city preservation, tourism as well as Haihe River Tour movie hall. The 3rd floor display the housing and public facilities, eco-city, environment renovation, key regions, districts and counties, public interactivity as well as Tianjin Image movie hall. Tianjin’s history, present and future are fully displayed both by means of traditional ways such as model and exhibition board and by a rich variety of high-tech ways such as laser imaging, electronic book and multimedia system. Furthermore, the exhibition hall enables the visitors to participate in public interactivity by means of setting-up digital multimedia exhibition area, dynamic movie hall, interactive games and so on.
In the Haihe River exhibition section, the doctoral students observed the planning model of Jinnan Campus, Nankai University, and comprehended the significance of Nankai University’s construction to the development of Tianjin. After the visit, the doctoral students unanimously express that they would play a good role in the study and publicity of Marxist theory, carry forward the Marxist style of study, inherit the “Nankai” spirit, carry out continuous investigation and research, and make contributions to the development of Tianjin.
